An expert in economic and strategic intelligence, Eric Delbecque is head of the economic intelligence department of the IFET (Institut pour la Formation des Elus Territoriaux, Institute for the Training of Local Elected Representatives, created at the initiative of the Assembly of French Departments, and approved by the Ministry of the Interior to provide training for elected officials). He is also a member of the Scientific Council of the CSFRS (Conseil Supérieur de la Formation et de la Recherche Stratégiques, Strategic Training and Research Higher Council). He was Director of the Institut d'Études et de Recherche pour la Sécurité des Entreprises (IERSE, supported by the Direction Générale de la Gendarmerie Nationale), an expert within the ADIT (French national strategic intelligence company) and responsible for economic intelligence and crisis communication operations within a subsidiary of La Compagnie Financière Rothschild. He is also a lecturer at the IHEDN (Institut National des Hautes Etudes de la Défense Nationale) and a lecturer at the CHEMI (Centre des Hautes Études du Ministère de l'Intérieur). He is the author of numerous books, notably in the field of economic intelligence.
